Mike's Headshor

Michael Perstinger, CD
President, CEO

Hello, I’m Mike, a former Infantry Sergeant who proudly served 23 years with the Canadian Grenadier Guards. My journey included two tours in Afghanistan and contributing during the St-Jean-Sur-Richelieu floods. I enlisted at 17, learning the values of hard work and determination. While progressing through various roles, a persistent back injury led to my medical retirement. Transitioning into the gaming industry, I missed the camaraderie of the military. This void inspired me to launch this project. After my own healing journey, I’m committed to helping fellow service members and veterans worldwide. Together, we’ll rekindle the unique bond born from shared hardships.

I’m Dave, a former infantry officer in the Canadian Armed Forces and a civilian military cooperation officer in Afghanistan. My military upbringing taught me the value of hard work, teamwork, and motivating others during challenging times.

Returning from Afghanistan, I faced injuries and uncertainty. I pursued a teaching career but neglected my back injury, affecting my family life. Feeling lost, I hired a coach who helped me rebuild. This experience inspired me to support my fellow sheepdog community.

Now, I’m dedicated to helping others overcome physical and mental challenges. Together, we’ll rebuild and thrive, knowing that with effort, we can mend what life’s challenges have tested.
